Privacy Policy — Popdoku

This Privacy Policy explains how Pixeo Games ("we", "us", "our") handles information in the mobile game Popdoku ("the Game", package com.pixeogames.popdoku).

Scope note: This policy covers Popdoku including the advertising-supported version. The initial release may not yet display ads; the advertising sections below apply once advertising is enabled in an app update.

By downloading or using Popdoku, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Game.

1. Who we are

Popdoku is developed and published by Pixeo Games. For any privacy question you can reach us at [email protected].

2. Information we collect

Information you provide directly. None. Popdoku has no account, no login, and does not ask for your name, email, or any personal profile to play.

Game data stored on your device. Your progress, unlocked levels, lives, hints and settings (sound, vibration) are saved locally on your device. This data stays on your device, is not sent to us, and is removed when you uninstall the Game or clear its data.

Information collected automatically for advertising. When the advertising-supported version is enabled, our advertising partner (Google AdMob) and its sub-partners may automatically collect and process certain data to serve and measure ads, including:

  • Device advertising identifier (Android Advertising ID / iOS IDFA).
  • Approximate device and usage information (device model, OS version, language, coarse location derived from IP, ad interactions).
  • IP address and similar network identifiers.

We (Pixeo Games) do not receive or store this advertising data ourselves; it is processed by Google AdMob under Google's own privacy terms.

3. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The Game uses Google AdMob to display ads (which may include banner, interstitial and rewarded video ads). Google may use device identifiers and usage data to deliver and measure personalized or non-personalized ads.

5. How information is used

Collected information is used only to:

  • Provide and maintain the Game and save your progress on your device.
  • Display and measure advertising (via Google AdMob).
  • Comply with legal obligations and prevent fraud or abuse (e.g. invalid ad activity).

6. Sharing of information

We do not sell your personal information. Advertising data is processed by Google AdMob and its advertising partners solely to deliver and measure ads, in accordance with their privacy policies. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our legal rights.

7. Children's privacy

Popdoku is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Where required, ads shown to users identified as children will be limited to non-personalized advertising in line with Google Families and applicable law. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

8. Your choices and rights

  • Reset or limit ad tracking: Android → Settings → Privacy → Ads (reset or delete Advertising ID); iOS → Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
  • Change ad consent: use the in-game privacy/consent options where available (EEA/UK).
  • Local data: clear the Game’s data or uninstall to remove all locally stored progress.
  • GDPR rights (EEA/UK): access, rectification, erasure, restriction, and objection. Because we do not store personal data ourselves, most requests regarding advertising data should be directed to Google; we will assist where we can.
  • CCPA (California): we do not sell personal information as defined by the CCPA.

9. Data retention

Game progress remains on your device until you delete it. Advertising data is retained by Google according to Google’s retention policies; we do not retain it.

10. Security

We rely on the security measures of the platforms and partners we use (Google Play, Google AdMob, the device operating system). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect information.

11. International data transfers

Advertising partners may process data on servers located outside your country. Such transfers are governed by the partners' own safeguards and privacy policies.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest version. Material changes will be reflected in an app update and/or on the page hosting this policy.
